Strategic Plan Outcome: Every Student Thrives Socially and Emotionally
Strategic Plan Measure: % of Students Attending Regularly
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): Increase student attendance so that 85% of students are regular attenders at the end of semester 1 (Feb'24) and 90% of students being regular attendars at the end of semester 2 (Jun. '24)
Strategic Plan Strategy: Teams in each building meet regularly to examine social- emotional, academic, attendance and discipline data for students.
- Action: BH& W will review attendance data weekly. Assigned member from BH&W team will contact those students w/ attendance under 75% over the past 10 school days without an excused reason.
- Action: 30 minutes on District PD days for grade level teams to identify ‘at-risk’ (attendance) students and communicate with those families (phone call to parents & postcard to students)

- Action: Student led conferences, reviewing attendance data for celebrations and concerns
- Action: Greeting kids at the doorways for every class.
- Action: Student surveys: Do you have a trusted adult within the building? I am excited to come to school most days? Etc.

School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): Increase student proficiency on the 23/24 state ELA test to 70% through implementation of WICOR writing strategies across all subject areas.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Articulated and scaffolded high leverage teaching strategies (AVID-WICOR) taught and consistently used in all content areas at all grade levels
- Action: Minimum of 60 minutes on each Professional Learning Day on WICOR writing strategies to implement in classrooms.
- Action: Departments choose writing strategy to implement and collect data on for each quarter
